During a tough time with health (being diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), I had this phrase repeating over and over in my head “the joy of the Lord is my strength”.  So I decided to write a song to help keep myself focused on that truth; that the one thing that would get me through this time was  “pressing in” to my relationship with Jesus and the comfort and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

I have learnt a lot and have seen significant improvement in my health since writing this song, and as I continue in my healing journey, I am so thankful to God for all that he has done, and how he has kept me so close to Himself. In fact, my next song is called “Thank You, Lord” - a song of thanks for answering my ‘years-long’ prayers for answers regarding my health. He is so faithful!!

This song is called Majesty, a song about the majesticness of God, and His splendour and glory.   And how I respond when He calls my name, wants to speak to me, and gives me direction and purpose.

It’s such a paradox that a God so glorious and majestic would even want to speak with an ordinary person like me, let along want a deep relationship with me.  But it’s true!  And when I think about how holy and mighty God is, and how much He loves me and cares for me - all I want to do is to come before Him, to listen to His words intently, to worship Him with all my heart, and to be useful in His purpose.
